Hi i would try the following

Eldica  8 Bradbury Street, N16  8JN

Flashback Records  (3  branches) check their website

CrazyBeat  in Upminster which is the last stop on the District Line travelling eastwards

If you have limited time  Crazybeat is a must

Have fun  Derek

CrazyBeat  has huge stock check their Discogs listings ! Was there myself a couple of weeks ago.

I second Eldica, best shop I have been in for a long time. Lots of Reggae and Soul 45's. Old Spitalfields record show is a MUST if you have the chance

1. Broadway records - Fulham (Thurs - Sun? )

https://www.onbroadway161.com

2. Blue Groove Soundz- Portobello Market

https://bluegroovelondon.business.site

3. Rise Above Records - Highgate

https://www.riseaboverecordsandrelics.com

4. Johnny Skates Records Stall - Lower Marsh, Waterloo (Tues - Friday ) If you’re on Facebook you can view his page on there.

5. Alan’s Records - East Finchley

http://www.alansrecords.com

The Spitalfields record fair is 1st and 3rd Friday of the month so you’ve missed it unfortunately.

My honest advice about London record shops is don't waste your time, forget about records and enjoy London for a week

Not unless you are happy to pay top prices and often for overgraded discs

There are better options for record shops in almost any other major city of the UK except London.

Thx....will have a wary eye on prices.

Believe I'll stop by SoulJazz for old times sake. And perhaps Third Man as my son lives in Detroit and likes the store there.

The pound remains weak against the $  so you should do ok Joel. When i moved back to London i was told there were no decent soul records to be had and those you would find would be trashed.  Not what i have found at all.
