Just browsing general sales and there is a badge listed for sale that states' Wigan casino 500th allnighter  May 16th 1981' - surely a misprint or are Russ Winstanley etc all older than they admit and was this the first allnighter starting 40 years before the Twisted Wheel 🤣

Was a weekly niter,therefore say 50 per year,that equates to 400,over 8 years,plus add on the Friday oldies(never went to them).

if it was running weekly from September 73 to May 81 that would’ve been around just short of 400 nighters, but they did run a few Friday nighters wether it added up to another 100  over that period is another question, It weren’t my cup of tea anyway I stopped going to Youth clubs in 1965 and visited real nighters from then on
