Did anyone win anything or bid on the uk collection via omega auction last Wednesday?
Must admit I bid on many things and thought I had placed really good high bids in and expected a couple of wins.
Good news is I still have a wife and Christmas is intact
Really keen prices - remember you pay 30 percent buyers fee with this auction so you have to factor that in when you bid.
2 examples - So Ray Pollards uk issue its a sad thing on issue went for 550 so plus fees would end up at over 700 pounds - that sold
Jerry Jackson - its rough out there uk pye demo sold for around 300 - so with buyers fees and postage over 400 quid - that sold
One one hand I was disappointed that I did not snag anything, but on the other really pleased and surprised that an auction not specifically directed at soul collector's achieves such great prices and interest.
The collecting scene is proving really healthy - I know this as I have just been outbid on everything I bid on
Must say it was an outstanding uk collection - including 60s soul, 60s ska, 60s mod, 60s psych
Anyone else have a go on these omega auctions?
