The Five Du-Tones on One-derful 4818 is nothing really to shout about even on a demo. But for oddball curiosities how about this label scan? Presumably they were given to winners of competitions at various roadshows, fairs and the like that record companies used to promote their acts at. The flip side of the record uses the standard pink yellow striped design.

Interesting that Derek.

MY RECORDS (of Frank Lynch - 'Young Girl' fame) did a similar thing with a personalised space for your own name on the label.

Clever really, cos we all used to write on our record labels and personalise them way back then didn't we... not realising how much we were deavaluing them in the process.

That's cool, I've never seen that. You know there are a ton of five du-tones 45s, there are a few unknown gems on some of the sides.
