July 4, 200718 yr Listened to all of the tracks and after the brilliant "On Bond Street" album this will take a bit of getting used to. Thought I heard backing tracks to I Can't Stand It, Bam Bam, even one that sounded like The Heptones Change Gonna Come. But the best of the lot was Tribute To Jackie Mittoo which was an instrumental of Phyllis Dillon's Don't Stay Away which is fantastic.
July 4, 200718 yr Author Know exactly what you mean Pete. One of those things you want to like but end up hating or vise versa. Do I buy it & wish I hadn't or not buy it & regret it later? Quite liked Brother Man (1st track) & the Jackie Mitto tribute but everything sounded kinda familiar.
July 4, 200718 yr had this for a few days, on non stop ! briliant music soul vendors , supersonics , sound dimension are credited on the sleeve all for a TENNER 16 TRACKS !!!! JUST BUY IT
