Posted July 29, 200717 yr Hi, can someone help me and put up a soundbite of the East Coast Rivieras - Carolina Lady/Goodbye To Love thanks Jed Edited July 29, 200717 yr by DELORENZO
July 30, 200717 yr The East Coast Rivieras have released several 45s on Metro, a label out of Charlotte, North Carolina. I've heard another 45 by them on Metro called "We Can Build A Love" and it's typical late-80s beach with a half-decent intro but then degenerates into a schmalzy mess with bland vocals. Sounds a bit like Andy Williams trying to sing a tune by The Catalinas. I haven't heard the tunes you mention though. Some scans of their different 45s: Edited July 30, 200717 yr by Sebastian
July 30, 200717 yr That's probably why I picked it up so cheap then lol Come across it a few days ago, looked in JM's book, and it was at £500 NOR, so I put a few quid on (searched everywhere for some info, found nothing), well I won it anyway
July 30, 200717 yr well I won it anyway It might be good, you never know. There surely must be SOME reason, apart from rarity, that it's valued at £500.
July 30, 200717 yr It's probably on a par with Stephanie Hunter's - Magic Which, mediocre as it is, sold for $30+.
July 30, 200717 yr Which, mediocre as it is, sold for $30+. Not to bothered really, as I said, only paid a few quid, £2-95 to be exact lol
