Hi,

i'll spend a few days in Vancouver in November/December (it's a business-trip, but hopefully i'll have a few days to have a look around). i wonder if there are any interesting record shops, flea-markets, car-boot-sales etc... has anybody been there? And are there any soul-events in Vancouver? Your help is highly appreciated!

Haven't been for 15 years but there were several goodish stores there then. One out near the Ice Hockey stadium, and a couple around the city centre - 10 minute walk as long as it's not too cold. However don't expect to find too much in there, it's not a big soul area. And I suspect it's all been cleared out by now. Sorry - try taking a ferry to Victoria, not sure many people go there looking for records, and you never know - supposed to be quite nice...Steve

Victoria, is beautiful,on the ferry out there, some times you can get to see Whales.

Cant remember a record shop near the stadium,best thing to do is look in the yellow pages when you get there.
