Regards Alan Roger Banks has an acetate of the Brenda Holloway version. Sublime. Heard it palyed at Cleethorpes last year. Made the weekend it was that good. I would dontae a kidney to own the acetate.
October 6, 200717 yr over the years i never thought any record could beat my all time faves, but this one does it, the best record ever, respect for the post,
October 6, 200717 yr Gorgeous record...Although I love BH's version Tammi's is the best...a few other versions too as we've discussed a few times before on here...
October 6, 200717 yr I do understand why alot of recordings remained in the can and weren't sanctioned for release by Motown's infamous quality control team because although we like them most would not have stood a chance commercially, however when we talk about such sublime soul music as "All I do" by either artist then in my opinion Motown made a big mistake, as a Motown collector I would love to have seen this released especially on the traditional black & silver UK Tamla Motown logo, mouth watering. Motown at it's very very best. Regards Alan
