Hi,

Has anyone come accross the UK re-issue of Bobby Hebb's Love Love Love - Phillips 6051023 - (paper lable) which seems to have been recorded initially on the wrong speed for the first few seconds at the start. It starts slow, then quickly winds up to proper speed.

Just wondered if it is a one off, or is it common. Apologies if the subject has already been covered.

Thanks.

P

You weren't playing it out on belt-drive or low torque decks were you?

Derrr. Ive got a wind up with a large horne stuck on the side

Strangely enough the version included on "Northern Soul Connoisseurs" has this fault, I thought this was only on the cd, shows the level of care Phillips gave to their remastering in the 70's!
