I really have no idea what the problems were, I tuned in just to check all was ok at just after 10pm on Sky and it sounded terrible, there has to be a real problem at the station for this to happen, I sent an email and a text to the station and requested that they pull the show if the problem could not be resolved, the gremlin seemed to have messed up tonights broadcast totally and all I can say is sorry, things happen sometimes which are totally out of my control, I'm sure things will be back to normal next weekend and again sorry for the problems.

Yeah, I tuned in at 10pm (it was playing fine before that on sky) and it sounded really really low - got the first 45 (Mary Moultrie on King) then it went all yucky and couldn't hear anything..........turned it off and when i tuned in again later it was as clear as a bell BUT it was Evelyn King 'I'm in love' playing! Hmmm either Mark's changed his stylee or it's a generic studio tape! Yep, you guessed it, it was Mark LOL sorry it was a tape, so obviously summat went wrong so the question is 'Where are the lost Bicknell tapes'

Actually, I always had a soft spot for Evelyn, maybe you should be playing more early 80's boogie Mark?

That was a joke by the way in case folks jump down me throat

Just got off the phone with Carl Lewis at 'Starpoint' and basically there was a problem with the output sound card on the station computer, any show either recorded to mini disc or directly uploaded would have failed to broadcast as it was a sound problem rather than a direct problem with the show my end, this problem has now been corrected and service should be back to normal next Sunday, thanks for your concerns, text's and phone call's directly to 'Starpoint' on Sunday and again really sorry for the lost show but this was totally out of mine and the station's control.
