Been playing the "Live At The Bijou" album, almost 38 year old unbelievable................music to my ears, hope it is never forgotten, who else enjoys the wonders on Grover Washington Jnr :D

Got most of his Kudu albums - the man was a genius on the sax. Been looking out for his Motown album 'Reed Seed' on CD but never found it.

Gotta lotta love for Grover! I too love the "Live @ The Bayou" LP. "Do Dat" off "Reed Seed" is also a favourite jazz/funk spin of mine. "Knucklehead" & "Hydra" off the KUDU LP "Feels So Good" are also smokin' tunes IMO. :D

[ :D Grover king of the sax... got nealy all of the great mans stuff.. lp mainly. inc one or two of the dodgy later ones before he passed away, and went abit to poppy ?/ BUT still enjoy is 70s ones.. agree hard to get this stuff on cd ! but they,re are some good cd comp,s out there.. cheap. if you really only want the cd mate, mail me ok. ill copy it for you cdr. ok martyn

A favourite of mine is Grovers "Strawberry Moon" album from 1986.

Travelled round Europe by train in the late 80`s listening to Grover, loved the Winelight lp soooo much
