I got this about 1980...the cover says"A Parliament Records USA Recording"... A good cross-section of funk/midtempo/ballads......what you would expect from a 1977 soul album.....all tunes written by the man himself with good arrangements.......there was obviously some money spent on this...(it says he had a fan club in Hollywood!)...i know this was a very late release on Anchor UK (werent ABC pulling the plug on the UK office?).......so it prob got no promotion.......any info on the artist appreciated ..(he was obviously talented so possibly did other stuff?)....scan of label (with custom origami) attached.......(ive never seen another one btw....but i dont get out much )

LP by Jesse Morgan Was never released. You are right about ABC dropping the UK recorder company. The LP was shelved. Jesse has been retired from music since 1988, however, he has reentering the business and is now working a new CD. Meanwhile, Jesse has opt to release the above LP with updated production sound and edits. That LP sounds even better now than before. Thanks for the reply and info hilray.......did the LP get a USA release?....the project must have cost a fair bit.....judging by the artwork and musicianship...did Jesse work with other artists ?...a completely self penned album reveals his ability as a songwriter.......attached a scan of back cover of british Anchor LP.......
