In the main room at the Prestayn Weekender recently, I took some short videos of the live acts with my camera.
The aim was to keep for these myself and share with some friends in Oz who couldn't be there, but then it felt right to share with others who loved the experience too or missed out.
But of a shame the auphoria was spoilt when it was posted in the media section
A guy on another soul list mentioned that he had passed my You-Tube link of his song to Swamp Dogg, who said he was impressed (how kind was that!) and had asked if anybody had videoed the whole performance.
Then yesterday, I was contacted via You-Tube by a a guy claiming to be Sammy Campbell's son (Frank) who had seen the Del Larks/ Sammy Campbell You-Tube videos and would love a dvd of the performance if possible.
I just wondered if anybody knows any of the people who were taking proper videos. There were at least a couple I noticed, but I don't know most people anyway and have no idea who they were.
It would be great to give something back and arrange for the artists to have a copy of their performance .
