I know this question might be very dumb, but is this Tom Jones the Tom Jones? I've one 45 guide (Osborne) that lists it along with all the others, and another guide (Neely) which gives it a separate listing as if it's a different artist. It sure sounds (links included, and it's soul that's quite good) nothing like "What's New, Pussycat", but I've had one person assure me it's the same fellow. I'm very much indebted to you for your help!

Always trust Tim (Neely) over Jerry (Osbourne) IMO.

Joe's right it 'A' Tom Jones not THE Tom Jones even JM Lists it under the same heading as THE Tom Jones from memory despite it clearly being a black guy.
