Did anyone see Sam cooke or Jackie Wilson live and if so any postings of set lists cause i would like to have seem him live if only he was alive and same with Jackie Wilson and wondered if Sam would have done Sugar dumpling live (how good was it) and Jackie would have done Open the Door To Your Heart

Just buy this - 7 quid from Amazon - One of the greatest live albums ever and my favourite Cooke album- top of his game playing to a black crowd instead of the Copa supper club crowd - fantastic!

I did see Jackie Wilson live and no, he didn't do OTDTYH - probably not too surprising, given that he also didn't do a large number of his own hits, let alone anybody else's...

What Mike says about "Live At The Harlem Square Club" is 100% true, it's a real 'must have' CD. I didn't see Sam when he came here in 62 (I was, what, nine?) but I'm pretty sure that he would have kept his set to "Twistin' The Night Away", plus one or two of his earlier hits and a couple of standards - 'package tour' sets were pretty short back then....
