i heard this a few years back and thought it was ok but the dodgy lookin picture of it put me off almost..sort of italian stallion style(whilst searching a san fran music shop)..a bit cod studio 54 ..

a bit surprised to see it gathering interest in modern soul land.

be interested in anyone elses opinions and what it may be worth..as i did bag it in the end!

cant have been that "infamous" if he played this!

an honest assessment of the vocal simon!...it was the weedy white boy vocals that must have done it!

i thought they were a bit shandy too..

I kind of like it! Great groove and the rhythm guitar reminds me a bit of Rivage . Agree with Simon that the vocals could be better but could really see it being a huge record. Nearly got one myself but it just lacks that 'edge' if you know what I mean.

It came out on two labels, one with a muddier mix.

They have been tracked down and have been placed in influential hands..... ian Wright has been playing it for a while now and it was certainly part of his 'Soul Spectrum' set In March...

Yeah some top ( non NS ) jocks have it .. Japans Harada too
