Just replaced my almost worn out stock copy with a mint W/D of my favorite Motown record "Forget about me" by Carolyn Crawford. What I didn't realise, flicking thru her bio, was that when Motown signed her in '63, the year she recorded FAM, she was only 13 years old! 13! what an amazing, rich, mature voice for such a young girl, and she wrote it too! Such a shame she didn't make it big.
PS, Unusualy, it is a west coast Monarch styrene press, ∆49880 Sept '63. Not seen one before.
