cheers! yeah its a great track, think it was produced by mickey stevenson and ivy joe hunter in 1964/65,ive looked it up and seen somethink to do with jobete records so wondering if it might be on that label! shame its unreleased because its really atmospheric and a real dancer, ill have to knock it off the top of my wants list then lol

I had a Jobete acetate of this that I got from a guy in Detroit in the early 90's.

I sold it to Pete Smith back in 2000.

so there is some out there somewere, how much would one of them go for now days?

Always think Motown / Universal missed a bit of a trick when they did the big re-issue thing last year or so by maybe not issuing some ltd 45s with unreleased material on ala what Kent/Ace do? Just looking at the unreleased material on the Cellar series is more than enough instead of the 'enterprising' bootleggers on ebay etc we all know and hate.... Suggestions for 45s?

hi...got an acetate version of this...good version quite similar to the one on the motown unissued cd if interested i send you a soundclip...nice tune :D

The one that Phil sold me was ten times better than the one on the Motown cd - it was really raw, powerful and FANTASTIC! I only ever played it out once, at one of Somon's Brighton all dayers. Then I sold it to Stuart T. Phil also sold me the original acetate of the fast version of Liz lands - Midnight Johnny, that was also incredible. Don't know what I did with that unfortunately.
