Here is one for Grant, that is not only a forgotten oldie, but one of those stomping instrumentals that always get ignored.

Willie and the mighty magnificents - Souling (Covered up as Frankie Crocker - Danger zone)

Cheers Grant. Was really fed up when a friend sold a copy, and she knew I loved it. C'est la vie.

Got one that isnt a forgoten oldie, might even be overplayed in some clubs I havent been tolately, but is an absolute monster in my bedroom is:

Lillie Bryant - Meet me halfway.

One of those records you could use to 'define' Northern Soul to the uninitiated.

And Peter and Grant, Joey Dee!! How could we forget! I dj'ed a few times back in the early 80s. What a rush, first time dj'ing, played that and seeing the floor packed with dancers! Cant beat that feeling!

Carl Henderson ..... Everybodys talking .... Omen

Roy Hamilton ... Ain't it the Truth ... epic

Blue lights .... they don't know my heart ... bay sound

Rufus Wonder ... Under the Moon ...Lendo
