In case anyone is interested I've just managed to buy a couple of tickets for this gig from ticketmaster(the NEC group)

they dont go on general sale till this friday.

The acts are - The Commodores, Mary Wilson, Martha & the Vandellas, The Miracles and Junior Walker's AllStars.

Dont know if Lionel Richie is going to be with the Commodores but have heard rumours he is.

Gig is in june next year at the NIA Brum and probably the usual other venues

Hope this of some use to some of ya

I doubt if Lionel Richie will be performing with The Commodores , The Mircales will be a good show I've seen them last time when I was over In Detroit ,

Big venues for this tour, really hope they sell out as I'm not sure a lot of people will have heard of these artists in today's music scene.

Worth the ticket price alone to hear Mary Wilson. .Saw her about 7-8 years ago,could literally "reach out and touch" her,we were that close.

Got to agree danced with her when martha and her turned up at a bobby Taylor and Carolyn Crawford do in brum a good few years ago now. Lovely lady in all respects

I agree. Last time I went to a temps and tops concert it was only half full and they are more well know.

Are these acts (less MW) ORIGINAL members or the offspring etc. Its quite expensive ticket prices for second generation, although of course I will be going.
