Many thanks in advance Simon Saw a band called Soulfinger at Hertford on Saturday. Typical soul covers/wedding/commitments type thing. Personaly, I coudn't wait for the vinyl to start again but hey,different strokes & all that. I should be able to get a contact number if you want. Steve

October 15, 200816 yr Theres the Wigan Casino All stars but I've never seen them if ya look at the Frank Wilson thread on here there is a link to there site. DC Fontana play quite a bit of northern and are pretty good but dont know if they could do a whole set purely northern regards Ian
October 18, 200816 yr Hi Simon I'm Paul Kidd , lead singer of the Casino Allstars see us at www.casinoallstars.co.uk Were the only true Northern Band in the UK, check out our play list. Lots of bands say there northern and sing all the Stax / motown etc. Were on at Alexanders in Chester next Friday. Top venue. We play locally in the north west, so I dont know about Brighton. Saying that were playing in Valencia Spain next March. We are a top act, 6 in the band just ask the Welsh Northern fans, and there hard to please. October 18, 200816 yr Snake Davis is still about isn't he? Probably the best and most consistent UK based semi pro soul band I've seen, often backing Edwin Starr
