copy i have has same pressure flaw as he calls it.its like a raised pimple on vinyl.plays perfect.wonder if they are all the same?mind you got mine from bagatelle in long beach for $4.so can't complain

at a rough guess between 3500 to 4000quid give or take a few quid if nabay anything to go by,and nabays not in the same league

I've been asked by a member for a more detailed description of the PRESSURE FLAW just to add to add a little clarity to exact condition of this item.

The "pressue flaw" is on the "Bernadine" the PLAY SIDE looks as it it's been "trod" on or something similar, it has a small indent causing a surface flaw/crack, that doesn't go through to the flipside.

It's a strange looking deal, definately caused by a pressure-point of unknown origin,we are going to email all bidders on this item, with a blown up scan of the mark/crack/indent, otherwise the rest of the 45 is MINT. the soundfile is there for all to hear, there is a click as the stylus passes through the small damaged area which is on the play surface and does not go anywhere near to the outer edge.

NOTE there is no reserve, so it could end up being a bargain for a lucky someone..

Always thought it was Fred and the Turbines ...but was told its the Turbins as the group used to come on stage wearing Turbans..true or N/S mythology I dont know.

The lead singer was Fred Stamps.

They never got any kind of local bookings to perform from what I've managed to find out.

most of group were still at school at the time and used to perform at prom nights one of the group members went onto to be in earth wind and fire and two brothers in the group went on to be in a group called little feet and their father owned cenco records

what i was told in 1999 spoke to every member of the group apart from the lead singer on the other 45 by them, was told he was asked to leave as he was a bit of a dodgy character, then fred came in as lead for the other 45 but then again they could av been bullshitting me

That was the copy that JM auctioned years ago, but got withdrawn I seem to remember ? Think he said at the time he'd had an offer he couldn't refuse?
