Is West Coast Usa Worth Looking At

Ok the wife is looking at disney and I said would we not be better going to west coast spend few day at Disney week in LA week in San Francisco and trip to Vegas and she is thinking so is there any shops worth a visit. when i give her shopping money and say I am going for a drink. :unsure::thumbup: BUT HEAD OF TO RECORD SHOPS!!!!!!!

There are some major dealers/collectors on the west coast but there is always a chance. In San fransisco head for Haight st, that should keep you busy for a day. My advice would be to make sure your trip coincides with a record show..one of the big LA shows would be good...but dont get there after 6.30am or you will be wasting your time mate!

Vagas is sparse, couple of shops but well picked over, like Florida everyone goes there!

there are lots of shops in Vegas just opposite the Wynn is the Fashion Mall. and there is an outlet mall somwhere further along. San francisco is quite nice the centre is quite good. L A is huge but rodeo drive is worth a wander down Santa Monica is nice. and the Drive from San Francisco to Los Angeles is awesome on the coast road. Carmel is very nice Pacific Grove and Monterey are very picturesque.

Mark, One of us has misunderstood the question!! I assumed Whereismyrecord was asking about record shops he should visit...not shops for his wife!!

If he was, i agree...vagas is the place, brilliant shopping at the fashion show mall and the 2 big outlet malls...crap for records though!

If you get a chance then Sacremento old town is worth a visit.

sorry my mistake did not read last bit of post.

i am no use for record shops as when oi go to the US i go for a hloiday so dont bother with record shops.
