I have a 45 by Gene Middleton-No one loves me (Funk Factory)

Was wondering if any one knows anything about this 45, was/is it played, is it rare, unknown, massive oldie!?, anything of interest.

p.s not for sale

Killer record!

Was played in 70s, can't remeber where. Value 50ish, also on a light blue label Andee, may be a press on this label, but not sure.

whistling.gif thanks for info

might be a pressing eh?!

Brilliant record.

Haven't seen one in ages although when I first heard about it about 7 years ago I was told it was worth 40-50 then.

Was lucky enough to pick it for £10 in Cleethorpes a few years back.........in the modern room of all places

Fantastic record

Only seen a couple go through Ebay at around 50 dollars - just right at the moment and will be massive when someone plays it whistling.gif

i got a blue andee copy from a car boot in hatfield £1.00

listened to it on the soundburger and thougy

youre comin home with me....

great tune pressing seems a little low???

that is quality

i like this bizarre little thing by gene middleton, presumably the same guy

wouldn't like to dance to it after more than, say, eight pints or, to be honest, less than five. it's deffo a 6 to 7 pint-er but nice i think.

BOUGHT SOME COPIES OF THE ANDEE ISSUE FROM SOME VERY OLD STORE STOCK IN INDIANAPOLIS (NOW SADLY GONE), SO DOUBT IF IT IS A "PRESSING" IN THE NORTHERN SOUL DEFINITION OF THE WORD, BUT HEY, I'M NO EXPERT!
