Reminds me of around 74/75 when Black Music Mag had a real downer on Northern and they just used to dismiss any reissues as crap. The descrition of Mr Floods Party, "Compared to What" was a dire instrumental played at Wigan. OK, the track may not be particularly soulful and was a Torch/Wheel sound, but I still think they should have listened to it before commenting on it.
