When I was DJing at The Magic Of Motown Weekender in Great Yarmouth in 1990 I was handed this piece of paper that read " I'm Lorraine Silver Have You Got Lost Summer Love" with you..... I had know Idea what she looked like or any thing & was quite taken back as she wasn't that old, & in quite good shape & it turned out that she was dating one of the Main Organisers of the event Barry Collins....I did have her record with me & played it with her dancing in front of the decks....Later that weekend they got her singing in front of every one....I wondered there must be some similar stories waiting to be told....

What a great story Jon, i've got a vague recollection of being there, strange because i both love and hate this song at the same time, love it mainly for nostalgia (was it this weekend?) and hate it for? Well that should be obvious

At the Motown weekender where Popcorn Wylie was on, I produced a special magazine about the artists. My wife, unwittingly, sold a copy to Popcorn !

She didn't know who he was !!!

Only just found it again, Went to Dub Vendors to get some new Cardboard 7" sleeves & as I replaced Lost Summer Love it came out....
