Just found a copy of the Ellusions You didn't have to leave on Lamon in my garage - lovely record. No idea I had one or how I came by it. Was just wondering if it was ever booted? Or in other words, if mine is an orig?

Boot is styrene with poor sound quality.

All bootlegs are pressed on styrene. The original label logo displays as:

LAMON RECORDS

Established 1962

and the bootlegs as:

LAMON

RECORDS

Established 1962

Hi Mate,on the subject of finding records 2 years ago i found a copy of the Proffessionals in my garage in spain,bought it many years ago,didnt know how rare and valuable it was untill i saw one up for auction....................sold it for about 2k...was very happy,dont think that it was ever booted......

I found a withdrawn copy of Edwin Starr & Blinky in my garage too a couple of years back. Had no idea I was sitting on the withdrawn copy. It raised around £550 just when I needed it.

And yes the Ellusions is a great record - I just don't like holding onto to pressings these days
