That´s right, but i am not sure if selling 45s here as a private person answering a want-thread is exactly the same as offering 45s or other goods on a website with business rules etc. Buying and selling on a forum like ss, to me always depends on trust and feedback. It is always possible to both persons involved in a deal ending up as the idiot without 45 and without money. So it is more like an individual desicion if you send money or the record first. Both could be normal. But there is also the possibility, that if you don´t know the other person you can search his content etc. to build or to cut off trust in the person answering your thread, which is impossible to a seller on a website. If you would search about michael you could find out that michael is an member for sometime, and that he is doing business as a buyer and a seller. I honestly don´t know what you can find out about he seller here but after getting junk although you were promised something like new, and the fact that there is a third person involved you do not know, would you give the seller both hoping for getting back your money?

The seven weeks where too long micha, that´s right, but micha contacted the seller right after the 45 was delivered. But the question, why the seller grades so heavily bad is still not answered. The Record was visually VG- and played as such (know that cause Micha did show me). As far as i know (Micha, please correct me if i am wrong), the seller stated that he is not the person who sent the record, he even is not in the same place (nor the same country) his 45s are in. He knew that he has that 45 anywhere back home, offered it to michael and gave a third person the order to sent in his name. I don´t have any problem with this practice as long as the item i bought arrives in the shape it was stated. We still not know for sure why the grading was that wrong (maybe the seller has two of this 45 and the third person sent the wrong one ) but keeping this in mind i think a full refund would be correct, and in mhop sending the money first would show to be a good seller.

So thanks for your experiences and opinions. Would like to give a short list, to get the points you mentioned sorted (especially for myself, but maybe someone needs this too?!). Copyright, of course, lies on the side of the artist/producer etc. Posting on Youtube or elsewhere on the net is in legal ways permitted... ...as long as you don´t have the allowance of the copyright-owner. In short you have to pays for this. But it seams as if there are more than one points of view on the side of the owner: On the one side there a copyright-owners are chasing offences against their copyright. But this seam to be not that many, because of the fact many copyright owners of the 45 we collect are dead or do not know about the abuse of their property... also, there are copyright owners, which see opportunities of profits in the future due to the fact that their property gets more attention and a bigger demand is created. With reference to the posting on youtube, the facts are: If you post a 45 you don´t have the copyrights of nor the allowance of the regular owner you are doing this illegal. To get in trouble, the owner or a third person has to inform youtube about your offence. If So Youtube will check the case and decide if your post is getting deleated or not. If more than one of your posts on youtube will be deleated, then there is the chance that you´re banned from youtube. To point out you´re post the soundfile in "fair use" seams to be no beware of copyright-abuse. These are the facts. Personally I am still not sure if I will post on youtube, but the pure mass of 45s offered as clips on youtube without problems seam as a strong argument to me. At last you have to take the risk of getting in trouble, if you want to offer the opportunity to hear good music out of another time and offer the artist the audience it deserves. Horrible. Till last thursday it was sure to me that i spent a lot of money for nothing, but then the good news came in that it arrived the seller safety. Decided to let deliver at my homeadress only in the future. I know that there are folks who ever choose normal postage, without registrate it, no matter how much the 45 is worth. In the beginning i thought they were nuts, but I had problems two times till now and in both cases the parcel went on its journey as registrated from GB. In this case i was lucky but in another case the seller lost the number of the parcel and so a Lenny McDaniel (Seven B) got lost in the space of global transport .

Futhermore the lines of transport are getting more complicated by "special" services. Had a few problems with the fact that the royal post doesn´t work together with Deutsche Post/DHL for registrated mailings (any more?). I dont know why (probably because of the money) the royal post cooperates with GLS in germany, what i didn´t know. Problem was that i wanted the postage to get delivered at my Box in a Package Station, which only can get delivered by the german Post. So GLS left my 45 at the stock without giving any information about that to me nor to the sender. After several phonecalls with the hotlines of geman services i found out that they cannot have my package. By a "shot to nothing" i did hit the right line at gls. They sent it back to seller wich took further three weeks. so now after two months the package is back there where it came from....

Hello, decided to start to upload some 45s at youtube like many others here. But there is a mate who asked immediatley if this is legal? Maybe it is kind of naive but never thought about that. Sure i am not the owner of the copyright, so my question goes out to people who have specific experiences. Ever had Problems with posting music on youtube or the net in generally. If you have your own chanel on youtube are you paying for the right to do that??? best, spinne

don´t know what the LP is going for, but there where a few on Ebay recently. I got my live 45 and the quality is poor but i like it good luck!

One of my all time faves. The other b side is "the place where sorrows hide". as far as I know, the one that steve mentioned is the rarer one. But whatch out the white demo has a weak recording, so watch out for the issue. Good Luck.
