Not 100 per cent, but I think it's the 'B' side of Crying Won't Help You. Best of luck. Caz

Has There Ever Been A Worse Cover Of A Soul Record
Personally, I always hated Dancing A La Musique - French Fries Yes, the Sly & the Family Stone may have been on the commercial side, but it really is one of the best dance records ever!!!! It does actually make you wanna DANCE TO THE MUSIC!!!! One helluva stomper!!! AS THE WORDS SAY " GET ON UP AND DANCE TO THE MUSIC!!!" Carol

Top Track For 2008
Hi Kev Now why do I get the feeling you're taking the p**s!!! But having just drank a pint of red wine with my tea, I'm a bit worse for wear at the mo!!! Know what you mean about the Backbeat room though. Makes me feel a bit paranoid sometimes but that's probably the smarties!!!! Hope it'll be a better room in the new venue!!! The awesome music in there defo derserves it!!! Carol

Top Track For 2008
Yep, awesome tune. Remember the buzz going round the Backbeat room at Middleton when I heard it last year. For 2008 though, by far my top tune is Be Gone - Jimmy Brown!!!!! Courtesy of both Hoss and Ted Couldstone. Great hard driving beat. Brilliant!!! If my memory serves me correctly it's the 'B' Side of Always Be Good To Me. Carol

Wakefield Unity All - Nighter

Did Anyone See
Jesus H Christ!!!! Certainly didn't think my post would cause all this fuss!!! Just thought it was a great performance of a classic tune that's all. I find it interesting to hear different versions of songs and this one was pretty damn good IMO!!! No big deal, to me anyway!!!! Thanks to Cunnie for the info. I'll leave the rest of you to 'debate' amongst yourselves!!!

Did Anyone See
Just laid on the sofa last night chilling and texting my mates. My son was watching ITV's HERE COME THE BOYS and on comes SEAL!!! Always thought he was a great performer, which on this occasion is a bit of an understatement. He sang the James Brown classic IT'S A MAN'S, MAN'S WORLD which just happens to be one of my all time faves, and it absolutely blew me away!!!! AWESOME!!! Totally different arrangement, but brilliant all the same!!! If I'm being honest, the fact that Seal is pretty damn sexy might've helped a tad, lol!!! If anyone knows if this track is on one of his albums, please post a reply as it's a must for my Crimbo pressie list!!! Carol

Latin - Love It Or Hate It
No, you're not on your own Jayne. I detest the stuff!!! As one isn't supposed to swear on here anymore, I'll leave it at that!!! As for the colour thing that's been mentioned previously. Whether the artist be black, white or purple with yellow dots on, Latin just isn't SOUL, IMO. p.s. All the very best to you and Neil for tonight. Would've liked to have made it but unfortunately it wasn't to be.
