Lets Dig Em Out
I prefer I Can't Stop The Rain by Mr. Ruffin, Also look out for two 70's Motown hidden gems David Ruffin--I'm just A Mortal Man Edwin Starr --Love, The Lonely Peoples Prayer. 2 superb laid back growers Cheers Tony

Yes This Poor Heart of Mine is excellent. Re your other point, does anyone have definitive info on which tracks Tammi didn't sing on?? I believe that it was most of the United lp and that the singer was actually Valerie Simpson. Anyone know for sure? Tony

Funny How Time Slips Away--Joe Hinton Awesome tune, we used it as our last record at The Piccadilly Club(M/cr) in the mid 70's. Some kind soul gave it to me on a Vocalion demo. Thankyou. Cheers Tony

Eh Up Pal! You missed Build Me Up Buttercup! Sorry I'm Gone TP- Favourite Jackie Wilson Record
Have to agree, Because Of You ain't a bad record, it's just that the easy option brigade have done it to death. And there are so many other great JW's to play Tony- Live Acts At A Niter......yes Or No?
I would have to say no as well. Not only because the performances usually leave something to be desired (with of course notable exceptions). But you normally find you're 15-20 minutes with no music waiting for it to get going. By the way you should recall that at one of Edwins Wigan Shows his backing band were awesome, they grew up to be.....Rose Royce! Cheers Tony- Cheapies anyone?
Somebody suggested reviving this thread. On you go Tony- Action Speaks Louder Than Words
