Best gritty production ever! Sounds like your blowing the speakers even when you play quietly. Brian Engel from Minneapolis has been pushing both Joe Walker & Charles 'Mr. CC' Carlson pretty hard for years...I suppose that doesn't affect the European scene that much though.
  2. I've e-mailed him before about about a different record. I guess he's an old dude that has been collecting since the 60's, and I heard that he used to be a radio DJ back then or something too? He was bragging about this record telling me that he put a reserve of $3,000 on it, and is one of those guys that got a hold of a Manship guide and then tells you exactly how rare his records are when he really doesn't have a clue.

In one of the listings on popsike the seller wrote that there are 5 known to exist. Don't know if there's any truth to that or not, but every copy on there seems to have some cosmetic defects...I would take 'em though. I believe the one I was offered was mint, and I guess it was the first one ever found in the US in the eighties or nineties.

If I can get the money, which will take me months, I probably will. It's my favorite record by far, and I guess it is super rare especially in good condition...of course I'll be watching ebay very closely for one.

Not going to give up the name then...I'll have that money in a few months. I also got a few people that would ask me how much I'd be willing to pay, and then back out last minute...teases.

When I was asking for one, someone came at me with the price of 3500-uk.

    Been sorted with both. Thanks.

I believe the picture sleeve is pretty rare. Should be that amount in dollars not pounds at the very most though.
  14. Great record with a really raw production! The uptempo side is a good dancer, but the ballad on the other side is amazing.

    I sent you a PM.
  16. Nick Soule posted a post in a topic in Record Wants
Yeah, saw that one...I'm not paying $600 for a picture sleeve though.

I've seen pictures of the one for Hey Love b/w No Time For You(the side of the record I'm after), but not the other one.

Yeah, I knew that. The singular Dynamic is a San Antonio label, right? At least I think the group is is from San Antonio.

Looking for Ex or better copies of: The Commands - Hey It's Love (Dynamic) Eldees - Don't Be Afraid To Love (Dynamic)
  20. If I had 20 grand, the list would've been a lot longer...and I probably would've tried to get a Frank Wilson.
  21. Apparantly there is a blue label and a red label, so I'm wondering if the red label has the name 'Morgan' on it and maybe the blue one is a typo on the name or something. And thankyou very much for the clip. Greatly appreciated.
  22. Don't know him. What's his name on here? Or an e-mail?
  23. Got almost everything off my last list, but this & the Tomangoe's(no surprise). The Locations was the one I was really hoping for. Any playable condition will do. Thanks, Nick
  24. Will do. Thanks.
  25. This is what it looks like...'I've got everything' is the side, but the otherside has a nice early sound and is written by one of the Butler brothers along with Otis Leavill.
