Bottom & Company - Gonna Find A True Love
Looking for a clean copy of Bottom & Company - Gonna Find A True Love on Motown. Thanks, Nick

Frank Wilson. Do I love you. Value?
There are definitely test pressings for the same record from different plants. Probably the easiest to find is “Never Can Say Goodbye” by the Jackson 5. The ARP vinyl pressings have a sticker on the label where handwritten info would go. The styrene pressings from Monarch have handwritten info.

Lil' Soul Brothers
They had a group in the 80s called Detroyt that released an album and a couple of singles on Tabu, and another called the Boone Bros that released on Atlantic.

(Actually) Rare Detroit 45s: Gwen Owens, Four Voices, etc.
Payment via PayPal only - either as a gift/friends & family or add the 4%. Shipping in the US is $4 and $14 to anywhere else - faster shipping methods available as well. Grading is conservative. For sale: Gwen Owens - Just Say You're Wanted (And Needed) (Velgo) VG-/G+ $4,500 SOLD - Guaranteed original with SI-C10003A SOUND INC. in dead wax. This copy plays WITHOUT the skip. The copy that CarolinaSoul recently auctioned was my spare, and I can say that this one definitely looks and plays cleaner. Lots of scuffing, but no real heavy marks. Sounds amazing when played out - The Four Voices - Your Love Is Getting Stronger (Voice) Strong VG $2,800 SOLD - Original copy. Light paper sleeve scuffing only, no heavy marks whatsoever, plays clean on both sides. Labels have very faint ring wear, but still look incredible - Lonnett - Blue Jeans (M-S) VG/VG+ $1,600 SOLD - Despite the rubbing on the labels, this is actually a pretty nice copy, only has some light marks and both sides play clean - The Precisions - I Wanna Tell My Baby (D-Town) Strong VG $1,500 ON HOLD - The cleanest copy I've ever found, very close to VG+, glossy with light marks only, pen on a-side label - The Terrifics - Leave Us Alone (Diamond Jim, DJ copy) VG- $1,100 SOLD - Light marks, plays well. Stain on a-side label - The Tempos - I'll Never Forget (Diamond Jim, DJ copy) VG/VG- $1,000 SOLD - Light marks, nothing feelable, plays well. Small stain and stamp on a-side label - Burning Desire - Why She Had To Go (Charisma Sound) VG/VG- $850 SOLD - Mainly light marks, both sides play well with some light background noise - Dena Barnes - If You Ever Walk Out Of My Life (Inferno, DJ copy) VG+ $700 SOLD - clean copy, glossy playing surface, great sound, only real flaw is some wear to the label around the spindle hole on the a-side and two X's drawn in pen on the b-side - Tony Clarke - (They Call Me) A Wrong Man (M-S) VG/VG- $450 SOLD - A fair amount of scuffing, but no heavy marks, both sides play clean -

Sheppard Boy - Who is this artist please ?
Jesse Thomas on both sides.
-
Sheppard Boy - Who is this artist please ?
"Crying Tears Of Joy" - I.H. (BMI) "I'm Gonna Take You" - I.H. / Brohun (BMI) I can't say if there's a similarity between "I'm Gonna Take You" and "Take You From Your Guy" right now because my 45s are in storage for the next month or so, but I can say that both sides of the Jesse 45 are not good.

Sheppard Boy - Who is this artist please ?
I don't have any information about Jesse Thomas, but there is another release on International Hits: Jesse - Crying Tears Of Joy / I'm Gonna Take You (International Hits 1982) Also, The Scorpio & His People record is definitely not related.

Pat Lewis, Look At What I Almost Missed, Alt. Label Design
That’s really interesting to see it that high on the Chicago radio advert. The only place I’ve ever found the later label design was at Hyde Park Records in Chicago. I’ve only found the blue label one in Detroit.

Precisions on Vinyl
The one Richard posted is the copy I just received. Came from St Louis, MO. Here’s a picture of the stamped matrix.

Precisions on Vinyl
Recently got a copy of "Such Misery" that is pressed on vinyl instead of styrene. The ZTSC matrix numbers are machine stamped and labels are exactly the same as the normal styrene pressing. It has a drill/cut-out/deletion hole too, so it seems like an actual 60s pressing. What's up with this? You can find Darrell Banks "Open The Door..." on vinyl instead of styrene sometimes in Detroit, but I've never found this Precisions record on vinyl before.
