Have recently heard a couple of tracks by Leon Thomas I really like. Does anybody know whether Leon Thomas's "Love Each Other" is the same on the lp Blues and the Soulful Truth as on the 7"? And does anybody know was his track with Mary Lou Williams "You Know Baby" available on any lps as the 7" seems to be going for hundreds of pounds.Thanks a lot

There are a number of companies on the internet who offer a vinyl cutting/carving service. You provide them with track via cd or mp3 and they will make you a 7" or 12" copy. Has anyone ever used any of these services? How did it work out? I'm not sure whether I will ever use them but there are some tracks that are beyond my bank account that I would love to play at parties etc.

Back in the 1990s I sometimes used to go along to the Jazz Cafe in Camden on a Saturday night to hear Femi from the Young Disciples dj. He often used to play a "rare groove" style track with a chorus in which a guy described his girl as "hipper than hip". All these years later, I'd still love to know the name of the record. It's not the Tower of Power track & it definitely was not James Brown on vocals. Any ideas? Thanks

Recently heard for the first time Kiki Dee's On a Magic Carpet Ride. Originals are, as I'm sure you all know, very expensive. Then I came across an issue by Miss Dee Dee which is I assume is a bootie but is it a cover or just an illegal bootleg? Now in principle, I am against bootlegs but sometimes needs must.
