Mel & Tim were appearing at the first all-nighter I went to back in '74 at the Queens Hall in Leeds, April if memory serves me right and way back then it sounded great when they sang it, not one I'd play out though or would want to hear at a venue. Colin.

I was asked about that comment on the flyer last week at the Steam nighter in Crewe "What does that mean, you won't be playing R&B?", "No" was my reply "only good soulful R&B" Might be better calling it R&S (Rhythm & Soul) rather than R&B but we thought it only fair to put on the flyer exactly what you can expect to hear, howver, it is up to our guest DJs what they play. How many times though have you been to night advertised on the flyers as one thing then when you've got there have you been disappointed with what was actually played. Posting this for Pat Brady. Anyone know Mario de Persia from Italy who was at Cleethorpes at the weekende? Pat wants Mario to contact him urgently, apparently the vino seems to have got the better of Mario cos he bought some records from Pat and asked if he could leave them with him and pick them up later. Guess what? Yep he never got back to Pat so there are some records in Leeds that should be in Italy.
