I think you wiil find a lot of guys with big collections don't cut it on the dancefloor because they have spent too much time out the back around the record boxes..Big collectors/djs/promoters aint the ones keeping the floor going...I would like to see some record dealers leave there stool for an hour or so and dance but they think they are missing something while they are gone...Its 2 different worlds aint it...I have always been with the punters around the dancefloor and away from the UNDERWORLD with secret handshakes All these differnt elements make the scene what it is...

Thats put a warm glow in my heart...Lovers not fighters on here..

Thats the way to go Karen..The false people will always be shown up for what they are,sooner or sometimes much later....but always.. ..

If this is there business then how can they feed themselves on no profit....Would you say the same about record dealers also..Promoters can love the scene and the people and make some profit...Its how some treat other people that gets to me...Some promoters will talk to you and thank you for coming,they are part of the soul scene and get as much out of it as we do....And then there are the others....You all know who and who does not treat you with respect...

Its such a shame when you get a fantastic venue and then the music is not to you're taste..Show me the finest ballroom dancefloor in the world and then play the casuleers That tune says dance dance dance but i just can't can't can't... ..

Big is ok sometimes...."oh lord,what are you doing for me" It seems the RnB thing really gets to some...Finding the difference between quality gritty soulful RnB and 2 c"nts from Preston(country and western)cowboy music etc...I can take a little of anything The odd record i don't like aint gonna stop me going to a night in the future...If you don't want to hear a tune you don't like then have the all-niter in you're front room

The older some get the more comfort they want...Gonna be easy chairs and slippers soon at all-niters Hammy is correct...Take it up with a promoter and if they don't give you satisfaction then you can come on here and complain..I think thats fair
