I've just played 'Mellow Fellows - My Baby Needs Me" What a great record to sing along to on the way back from the pub

Think this one fits the bill. After about 52 seconds listen out for somebody clearing away the empties (either that or playing the spoons) Not a bad effort though?

Big Name Djs
Lightwater about a year ago. To be honest I don't think a lot of the 'rank & file' would have much idea of who he was, or what his reputation is. Thats not meant to be in any way an offensive comment. Think it was similar state of affairs for Junction 11

Big Name Djs
Thats sort of what I was getting at. I know Chris supports a lot of local dos, so people are more inclined to support a do that he has a hand in organising. I don't think the word I'm searching for here is loyalty, but maybe you get the way I'm thinking.

Big Name Djs
Thats interesting that Butch's name came up 3 times, as he was one of the DJs I saw at a do in the south that I felt was poorly attended. Maybe views on here are not representative of 'rank & file'

Lets have your nominations for being pissed behind the mike. I'll start off with Big Joe Tuner ....... or is it Vic Reeves?

Big Name Djs
Do you think the rank and file northern/modern crowd are generally prepared to travel distance these days to hear a big name DJ? I went to a couple of dos last year that had a top name & they were well promoted but poorly attended. That got me thinking, maybe a Big Name DJ is only a very small part of the mix. I think a much bigger factor in your choice of venue is probably making sure that you get the right mix of soul all night & knowing that you are going to get the right sort of atmosphere that suits you.

Most Soulful Disco Record?
Really like Lookin' for Love Tonight, although its been years since I've heard it. Space Bass, well thats another story! One of those records made me realise I could never again hack it in a normal club. How right I was to reject the jazz funk scene & follow the true path......

Most Soulful Disco Record?
I am my usual antagonistic self. But thanks for asking. Anyone remember Fat Larrys Band - 'Motown Review' or 'Centre City' Not really that soulful but brilliant to dance to. Col.

Most Soulful Disco Record?
So not all good 'modern' records are broken then?
