Can anybody sheed a light on this LP I found a while ago: Black Message on (German) Karusell records. a 28 track KING compilation with stunning tracks like: Cody Black - Slowly Molding + Keep on Keepin on Shirley Walsh - Why Am I Crying TC Lee and The Bricklayers Mill Evans The 5 Dapps Charles Wickers The Emeralds The Brownettes etc. All tracks a bit shortened down to give room for all (28!!) tracks. Common album? No year stated on cover or vinyl, but my guess is late 60´s? Cheers C

  13. Is Exceptional Three (feat. Ruby Carter) - Un Lucky Girl - Way Out, the exact same version as Exceptionals - Unlucky Girl - GRT? Other than the Exceptional Three beeing the rarer one? Sounds about the same but you never know!

  18. Price of pint is deffo cheaper in sweden than in many places in UK where I´ve bought one! PaulB-Mainly nights in Sweden, 2-3 allnighters a year around the country tops!
  19. usually first week of august theres an Allnighter in Gothenburg, Sweden that I put on (Soulastatic) at Nefertiti Jazz club, heard from 1 or 2 people around (you never know in these days of politics etc.) that they been enjoying themselves, so I will keep on doing the Allnighters once a year. Bunch of swedish DJs and also had some UK faces like: Ginger Taylor, Kenny Burrell, Terry Davies, Nige Brown etc. Northern floor and outside Modern floor. Soulastatic is on at Pusterviksbaren every last saturday regulary 22.00-03.00, 25-26 feb is the 7th year anniversary weekend with swedes and uks on the decks. www.soulastatic.just.nu cheers!
  20. Sadie, Sadie on the Ripple Blast Singers album is a bomber tune!! One of my faves this year, been playing it on and on and on and...actually played it last saturday at soulastatic in Gothenburg, love it!
