I'd set my sights a little lower... Curley Moore is worth more than double the Mr Caldwell I.M.O.
  5. You could have - in the late 80s / early 90s they had Bank Holiday Allnighters there. Not to mention the current events held on Whitworth Street.

Definately not his easiest to find - but I reckon you should manage one for £20.
  7. LP came out on UK as well.

Legit 70s issue by all appearances. So Says My Heart was re-issued on the same label design as the LP above.
  12. If the sound system in the venue is set up right Vinyl Carvers are fine - they are slightly lower volume than normal 45s, and just need a bit extra. Same with LP tracks. It's when someone who hasn't got a clue has set the sound up that problems begin.
  13. Redundant when there's Betty Lavettes version in your playbox.
  14. Not a recod find but... Was visiting my Dad in Boscombe, and decided to take a bit of his old stereo equipment into a 'Swapshop' to upgrade it. Usual Junk, loads of old radios, disco lights etc, but unfortunately no records. Decided to have a quick scan of a box of books, two stacks in the box, went through the first stack and found bugger all, was about to leave when I lifted the top book off the next stack (an old Haynes Manual) and the second one down the pile was Simon Soussans Motown and Northern Soul price guide. Cost me a fiver, but was happy to pay it as it was probably only a year old at the time.
  15. Crackin' spoonwork there fella.
  16. To improve on this, You should have cheap Sales and bring loads of chips. P. Doggy Esq. Chairman of the Tight Fatknacker Soc.
  17. As no one ever mentioned that the 'youngsters' or 'kids' are probably 5 to 10 years older than most of the people at a nighter were when they started going to the Torch/Wigan Stafford etc? It's all a bit patronising.

Don't think so. Nice price. I paid $12 for mine plus shipping - mind I did get 19 other singles in with it at that price.
  19. not including the detroit double
  20. defo at least 16....
  21. Check the feedback link i posted above. bear in mind he sells on Gemm as well... He's a proper tosspot. Massively overgrades, and that's if you ever receive the item.
  22. without looking at it, about half of what it should be full price - maybe £75?
  23. sold the Terry Roland for £20 a couple of years ago - not sure what's happened to the price since.
  24. It's Alan Radwill (aka BADwill) selling it - wouldn't touch any of his auctions with a barge pole: https://toolhaus.org/cgi-bin/negs?User=rnad...irn=Received+by
