  1. Thanks very much Mark that would be perfect. Ady
  2. Hopefully not, give 'em a ring 02084531311 and let 'em know. I would but I'm at the seaside!
  3. Could anyone loan it me sharpish in Ex or better? Even better if it has the flip but not vital. CDs and eternal gratitude await. Thanks Ady
  4. Thanks, sorted folks.
  5. Ex+ copy needed for a quick loan please. Not the Action copy. Cheers Ady
  6. All sorted thanks to abdnTony Cheers!
  7. Can anyone send me a soundbite of this or send me in the right direction please? Ta Ady
  8. Ady Croasdell posted a post in a topic in All About the SOUL
He was part of the 6TS furniture for nearly four decades and indeed went back before that to the mid 70s when he started travelling around the country with Mick, Taff and others. Later he got to know Randy and they always hit it off. Full of mischief, fun and stories; a real character, I'll miss him.
  9. Thanks, I've got it covered now I think
  10. Brilliant and thanks, you lost me way back but it's obviously been worth your efforts. Best to send to ady.croasdell@btinternet.com Cheers Ady
  11. That sounds loads better than listening to my record but have you worked on it as such? Could you send me an MP3 of it raw and unimproved so I can compare please? Thanks very much
  12. Do all copies of Where Are You sound Godawful? Bad mastering presumably, the flip's fine
  13. We're testing the water with these two, hopefully they'll sell well (initial response is very good) and we can expand into all areas of soul balladry. It'll be down to sales in the end. Thanks for the positive comments.
  14. Has anyone got the second volume of this I could borrow for a short while please? "Gonna Have A Good Time" Thanks Ady
  15. That's a lovely track but no idea who, could be US
  16. He quoted Arthur Wright as being a top producer on Hunky Dory which would have been quite knowledgeable in 1971
  17. And David Nathan kindly allowed us to use the label design and name in memory of Dave and the Soul City triumvirate of those two and Robert Blackmore. If they sell well we'll do more; support your local licensee!
  18. Sounds great and new to me. Clarence worked mainly out of Detroit. Dean Rudland is putting a recent Dave Hamilton tape discovery of his out very soon on BGP. Have you got a scan?
  19. Thanks to all, most helpful, I'm getting a much better picture of how it was.
  20. On Mainstream; has anyone got a scan of the label please? Hi Res preferably
  21. Chalky has it as June 76 from his calculations Steve. Do you have the Eddie Parker But If You Must Go? I'd like to date that too please. When was the Smith Bros played at Cleethorpes covered up as the Magnificents? If a few months or more before June 76 (assuming that's correct) then Jack may have done them to order?
  22. Excellent, thanks
  23. Does anyone have a date for the Magnificents release? I know there was a thread on here about it being the later pressing of Smith Brothers/Perfections but I'm not sure how to find it. A date for Eddie Parker on Mam Miko would be good too. Ta
