If there ever was a northern soul legend then this man it is.. Keith minshull ..djed at nearly every major northern soul venue ..so glad he djed for me at the Nuneaton coop allniter he loved it and couldn't wait to dj at my torch revival allniter which got cancelled in August last year... managed to have a long conversation at Macclesfield soul night last year when I told him I much respect I had for him even though he was a grumpy bugger at Stafford he just laughed...Rip Keith you absolute soul legend alot of soulful tears will shed today..we've lost a true icon..god bless mark

Saddened to hear the passing of a true legend on the soul scene .I once described him as the Brian Rae of the south ..saw him first in the oldies room at the top of the world allniters in the 80s with his trademark suit case full of records. Got to know him better over the years and shared the decks at soul on wax ...rip. Jerry Hipkiss you will be sorely missed and forever be treasured, thoughts are with his family & friends at this sad time .. huge respect mark
