  1. Is it a size thing John? If there were 10 copies of the 7" and two copies of the 12".I would suspect the 7"s would fetch a higher price than the 12"s. Just a thought! Pete
  2. King Tutt 12" I mean
  3. What price for the 12" now,I know it exists Paul Phillips has one.Anyone know of any others? I think it's much rarer than the 7"?????? Cheers Pete

  5. Thanks for the replies and advice.I'm gonna sit on this for a couple of weeks,in case he's on his hols etc.If I still don't get a response I will tell him he is named and shamed on all uk soul forums,it may be a good idea to set up a register of 'dodgy dealers' maybe if he received a couple of hundred emails,it might make him realise he can't rip people off! I'll let you know what happens. thanks again Pete
  6. I received an item through the post from the States a few days ago.It was described as 'Excellent Condition' It's dog rough!!Scratched to f*ck,won't play cos it jumps in 2 places, label is peeling off etc!I've e mailed him but no response as yet. What can you suggest I do,I know it's early days at the mo,I was thinking if he doesn't respond to me of emailing all the people that bid on his items and tell them what he's like, anyone got any suggestions? It was only a $50 record, but I hate someone ripping me off. Cheers Pete
  7. There's an unreleased album from a couple of years ago.Richard Searling has been playing a couple of tracks off it lately, the tracks I've heard are wonderful. It looks as if they might get a deal on the album now,and it might get a release, fingers crossed. Leo:- I've the Stone City Band one somewhere, will try and dig it out. R.I.P Rick James

  11. It's a cover of Johnnie Taylor-What About My Love. There's also another version by Joey Negro getting plays, which is far superiour. There's a good chance that Colin Curtis may give it an airing at K.G.H Stoke next week. Cheers Pete
  12. I'm amazed by these bidding wars.If I see something on ebay,I watch it.Then put a snipe on it.Why go hammer and tongs outbidding each other with 2 days to go??? Bemused!
  13. Quite a few copies of Bobby Reed have turned up lately, expect to pay around 400 quid for it. Cheers Pete
  14. I love this record.I remember when it was covered up as The Embers-Playing The Part Of A Fool. Searling played it late days of the Casino.I would be extremely wary of the copies kicking about now.If you look on Ebay there's a seller with one of these $50 reserve. And just by coincidence he has a Frederick Hymes as well.I've been told they were discovered in the owner of the Prix labels garage.Yeah Right!!!!!! Pete
