  1. Is it different versions on the two labels or the same?

Sorry just a really crappy quality one - will give you an idea though!

Yep a bargain of course, second copy of Mary Mundy I had, know of three other but should be quite a few more out there. The 12 inch is fairly easy. Know of three OK&T releases, have details of the third one on my home computer (remember Lars B aka Docfish telling me it was crap?). Ex-Ta-C is however easily the best - killer modern! It's the same recording released on Star Charts. Later the group had a track on a Arizona various artist compilation, anyone know of more releases by this group?

I've seen both Richard Lackey and Marylin Smith on eBay a couple of times, same goes for Cracksteppin 45 (I've got one of those as well) and must be more copies out there! What about major label 45's? Can think of two: Jim Gilstrap "Run run run" We the People on Polydor - anybody even know of this?

Edee Leatherwood "Make it last" (1st release before Ica) LV Johnson "Trying to hold on" I reckon that Willie Dee is the rarest one.

Heard this via a Paul Capon Cd a few years ago, apart from that one I only know of three copies.

Is that Mary Mundy "Love is gone" by any chance? Got a copy off Kev Roberts via eBay for 50 pence a couple of weeks ago . Hard on 7 inch but perhaps nothing for the list. What's your take on these? Paul Wright on Pork Ecstacy - Squeeze Star Charts - OK&T release is so hard, this one is even rarer? Carbon Copies LaRom Baker

Been curious to hear this for quite some time, anybody with a mp3? Ricky sure sounds different on the "Give me your love" - he totally disregardes the Barry White thing he had going.

--> QUOTE(C.B @ Dec 20 2006, 12:24 PM) link Do you have a sound clip of Sonic Explosion? Think someone played it at the Lifeline Weekender earlier this year, if I'm not mistaken?? How about Ice "Reality" for your list? Should be pretty hard Christian, PM me with your email and I'll sort you out with a mp3! Ice deffo for the list but would like to remove Al Alonzo and Paradise

They got three different ones on this label. Andy's probably not referring to "Come on down" that was also released on solid center Upsetters label. Can't remember the title of the rarest one, saw it on eBay for around $350 think Butch bought it.
  11. Craig Moerer had one BIN on eBay for I think $400 awhile back - went fast!
  12. Also released on Westbound but that one seems harder than the first label Dynamics. The opposite can be said to their "Lonely in a crowd" also released on both labels.
  13. £369! https://www.raresoulforum.co.uk/jm_auction....xt&num=2061 (ending price will not show if you are using Explorer..)

Her Mercury released song "There ain't no way" is superb!!
  15. Hi Paul sure this wasn't about containers with deleted albums ("cut outs")? They where merchandise not used as ballast. Think I read the ballast story on the back of a Kent compilation album?
  16. Agreed, one of my fave groups! There's a good version of this song with Hot on Big Tree as well.

I thought "You move you lose" where issue only? Found two copies cheap as chips of the issue earlier this year. Superb song!

I've seen it on the Uk Jam label, and yes same or close to same backing as Lyn's "Take me with you"
  19. Hi Oskar, "You're so beautiful" is quite nice altough I prefer the version on the United Artists Sail album. I reckon it's the same group that just re-recorded their two Kama 45's in a more polished style on the album.

List updated. One copy left of 7 Days Unlimited - don't miss out!
  21. hehe second that on "Disco hop"!
  22. The album and 7 inch cut of the Doris Badie are different versions. And "Disco music" with Mojoba is better than the title suggest. My question - how did Curtis Mayfield and Richard Tufo end up releasing New World "Help the man / We're gonna make it" on Polydor?
