  12. loved being a part of it since 1978, had a break for 10 yrs from about 87 (cant remember why), lovin it again. i dont remember missing it at all during that time so i suppose if i was out of this scene again, i'd be enjoying something else. the love of the music has never gone away and i dont think it ever will. 13. just listened to a tape of him at the casino from 1980 and wondered whatever appened to him? last time i saw him was mid 80's .... selling ladders for Stephens & Carter, (he came into a builders merchant i was working in at the time), i recognised him straight away, spoke briefly about his Brit/palais days etc but he kind of avoided the subject. im assuming he has no part in the northern scene nowadays. anyone know?

grieves me to know that they will axe a quality presenter and his shows, but leave old 'has beens' and their egos: Steve Wright (dreadful), jeremy vine etc etc. Lamarr plays some good stuff on there. the BBC should leave him alone !!!!
