loved being a part of it since 1978, had a break for 10 yrs from about 87 (cant remember why), lovin it again. i dont remember missing it at all during that time so i suppose if i was out of this scene again, i'd be enjoying something else. the love of the music has never gone away and i dont think it ever will. just listened to a tape of him at the casino from 1980 and wondered whatever appened to him? last time i saw him was mid 80's .... selling ladders for Stephens & Carter, (he came into a builders merchant i was working in at the time), i recognised him straight away, spoke briefly about his Brit/palais days etc but he kind of avoided the subject. im assuming he has no part in the northern scene nowadays. anyone know?
