  3. Harry Deal & the Galaxies - I still love you huge on the 'northern' scene but very much a beach type sound from a beach type band. a nice tune with a lovely keyboard riff DEBBIE-I LOVE THIS TRACK!, IT WAS GREAT TO HEAR IT AT BRIDLINGTON SATURDAY AFTERNOON, JUST HAD TO HAVE A DANCE!

  7. Curtis mayfield was hit by a lighting rig and died about 8 yrs later after on boxing day 99 , suffering diabetis and other illnesses. david ruffin dumped lifeless from a car, Jackie Wilson died after 8 yrs in a coma after collapsing on stage.

  12. I've heard worse records. Going back to the thread title -soul records you just dont get (soul being the key word)- - Paul Anka's 'when we get there' is a prime example of an appalling tune, as is Bobby Paris' 'I walked away' . Al Wilson had SOUL.

  22. 2nd of my Vintage Adidas sports holdall made under UK licence by Peter Black, Keighley (tag inside). early type with the 'hanging loops' for the carry straps. This has'nt been used for years, it had a couple of patches at one time but these have long since been removed. (the impression is visible close up but hardly seen). perfect and clean in every way. please see pictures and check out the condition of this corking piece of kit £35 inc postage
