Just a bit of an update for all things soulful in the 'Soul Shack' www.starpointradio.com - The show which should have broadcast last Sunday night will now go out on Saturday 29th November 7am - 9am, there will be a fresh show going out on Sunday 30th November 10pm - Midnight which includes a thirty minute tribute to Levi Stubbs and a full review/preview of the superb new Ty Karim Kent CD, will be celebrating my first anniversary on Starpoint Radio next week with a two hour special dedicated to the work of Mike Terry, in total the Soul Shack has now been running for eight years be it on two different stations, as ever thanks for all the support as it's nice to know a few people out there enjoy my weekly contribution. Not been anywhere venue wise since May due to new business venture and football so I'm a little out of touch with current play's...lol however that should change really soon, without question two tracks taken from the 1966 Capitol 'Little Willie John' David Axelrod and HB Barnum session's which never came out at the time are just about as good as it get's for me, storming Northern in your face with an R'n'B tinge/flava, 'Country Girl' aka 'Home At Last' and the superb 'Early In The Morning' been playing these two stunning tracks on the show in recent weeks and I'm sure someone must be playing them out and about? if not there is something very wrong as such tracks are begging to be Played, authentic recordings in the style we all love. Message to Mr Croasdell.........If you are working on any further Kent Select 45's then these two belters would make for a very nice double header indeed. Regards - Mark Bicknell.

Beggers belief this, made me chuckle though how he's put the values on one or two of the tracks like it somehow it makes it all the more authentic and collectable, very sad and very wrong and who would part with sixty two quid for this? even more sad. I wish this type of abuse could be stamped out totally but as it's been said before Ebay do nothing and have little or no interest in anything other than their fees. Regards - Mark Bicknell.

I got a red one, been playing it on and off for the last couple of months on the show not that I'm looking for any credit as this little beauty has been around for years, don't think there's a lot between the cream and red designs in terms of value maybe twenty five quid in favour of the cream one? two stunning sides and about time this one had is time on the scene as a popular record.
