Hey thanks guys! The very one! Was there any Al Green connection (eg credits / input) then other than the sound alike, clearly influenced by the stylee?

What is 'that' Al Green tune, (CD track I think) not sure of title, midtempo-ish but can only think of "Tryin' to make sense of it all" as a lyric, maybe 10 years old or so? Been buggin' me! Sorry in advance if its the most obvious thing in the world to all modern fans, but I'm a bit niaive on 'owt past the millenium! Did hear this somewhere though and liked it! Hi timbob Sound quality on the Blues R&B label is much better than most of the Echo 45s if thats what you mean, generally a very well produced LP Mark

Er, think you might have misunderstood what I meant - the image in the youtube clip is a demo but maybe not Nev's clip, maybe just posted for the soundclip. Quick one from Nev would clarify whether his is an issue. (Must admit I've never seen an issue though)

Think it was early 70's (72-73ish?), to meet UK interest, but to avoid this thread regurgitating what has gone before, best post up a link to the previous ones - will do later if nobody else can meantime, but at work now

I had one of those early orange Atco jobs ('Wylia' rather than Wylie spelling as writing credit I think from memory) - they do actually look nice, feel just right, proper solid vinyl if you know what I mean, and legit so poor man's respectable version! - but as anyone knows who have contributed to the previous lengthy threads on the versions / boots of this etc, this a total minefield to sort out generally. Think I sold mine for around 40 a year or so ago.
