Good Evening Pop-Pickers A few unusual, underplayed items to offer. Postage to be added (I only pass on cost). Paypal (F&F or please add 4% to cover my fees) or bank transfer accepted. (1) Bobby Holland – “You Can’t Have Your Cake” (Woman) EX £75 - nice midtempo; obscure and rare Wally O production You Can't Have Your Cake (Woman).mp3 (2) The Charms – “Soul Woman” / “The Hold Bag” (Estill) VG+ £75 *****SOLD***** - obscure and storming funky Northern dancer; huge potential in this 45 Soul Woman (Estill).mp3 (3) The Entertainers IV – “Do It Right Now” (Dore) EX £50 - very fine midtempo outing from this reliable group Do It Right Now (Dore).mp3 (4) Fred Mark – “Dance With Me” (Omega) M- £50 - bouncy funky dancer which has been getting plays, so I understand Dance With Me (Omega).mp3 (5) Gene and Eddie – “I Tell You” (Ru-Jac) VG+ £150 *****SOLD***** - real obscurity here I think; pumping 60s midtempo dancer in the Stafford style - very definite dancefloor potential and a real rarity I Tell You (Ru-Jac).mp3 (6) Little Teddy – “Need Money” (Lantic Gold) EX £40 *****SOLD***** - pounding uptempo R&B/Northern Need Money Part 1 (Lantic Gold).mp3 (7) Peggy And Artie – “I’ll Be Leaving You Soon” (King) M- £20 - £20 very well spent folks; brilliant funk-edged Northern I'll Be Leaving You Soon (King).mp3 (8) Samson & Delilah – “Woman” / “Will You Be Ready?” (Red Cap) VG+ £20 *****SOLD***** - two storming, gritty Detroit sides; came out later on ABC Woman (Red Cap).mp3 (9) U.S. Warren & the Ghengis Peas – “The Get A Way” (Chytowns) EX £40 *****SOLD***** - potential dancefloor destroyer, as they say, with a very fine funky instro on the flip - been in my playbox a while waiting for the right chance to play out and I found out on Saturday that it’s getting plays anyway, so thought I would let my spare copy go - uptempo funk-edged Northern - soundfile is not great because my set-up doesn’t seem to like some stereo recordings, so the guitar is very low in the mix but gives you an idea The Get A Way (Chytown) 2.mp3 The Fourth Movement (Chytown).mp3 (10) The Visitors – “Lonely One – Only Son” (Dakar WD) M- £40 *****SOLD***** - powerful message-laden soulful dancer which has been gaining popularity in the more open-minded venues Lonely One-Only Son (Dakar).mp3

-
Sorry! My mistake. I read it quickly as “Nm copy of this 45”
-
Sorry Glyn but just sold it. Really sorry mate.
-
No thanks Glyn. The Wee3 copies go for that (and more) and are common as cheddar cheese; the Wheelsville copies are harder and have the far superior Love Of My Life side. I've had this up for more previously and discounted it a fair bit already to take account of condition. Thanks anyway.
