Thanks all, it is about 7 hour drive so I really wanted to know if it was worth it as just a paying punter through the doors. Hotels would be done through air miles so just taxes to pay and petrol money I am not expecting to find any thing major but I am happy with a handful of bits and bobs to add to my collection. Just enjoy spending a few hours looking through boxes and chatting about records really. Apart from 2 or 3 shows a year the Canadian ones have really dropped off. Did Buffalo a couple of times but was not really impressed. How about Albany, Rochester shows?

I am considering making the drive down to this in March and wondered if it is any good? I know Des Parker and a couple of others make the trip but wondered what the show is like after all the dealers have done their pre-show trades etc. I have a couple of boxes of cheapies and will probably bring them with me. I am not expecting to find anything major but would like to think I can come away with a handful of decent things for my collection.

Is this speeded up? Doing a bit of ironing and put this album on and it sounds much faster than the 45? As a point of interest I also listened to Williams And Watson album, Garland Green - Jealous Kind Of Fella and the Best of Baby Washington

I found a Canadian Reo copy and was diligently cleaning it but did not notice it was cracked between label and vinyl, broke it clean in half! Canadian copy just sold recently for $249

Value Village is a Canadian wide second hand shop chain, not a charity so they get to charge tax as well. I have picked up some decent records in the past and could not resist this for $2.

Final show of the year always finds me dumping a load of stuff from the previous 12 months to the dealers. I managed to unload a box of Reggae/Island 45's (nothing to get excited about), a box of pop/rock/odds and ends 45's, a box of Reggae 12's (again, nothing exciting) and a box of rock albums. I did manage to get a couple of things, the best of which was a copy of Marv Johnson - Come On And Stop on Canadian United Artists. Also got a copy of Iris Harvey - Betrayed - Columbia promo but it has a crack that goes about 1/2" into the vinyl. You can hear a couple of clicks on the run in but it plays fine after that - but I dont actually like it that much having got it home and played it.
