Swish Its not a crap arrogant poem & I bet most of us can relate to aspects of it from our youth. My youth was little after yours but I still had the attitude & always thought MY way was the right way & couldnt get my head round the "NORMAL" people at work wantin to go out, get pissed,fight,cop off at the end of the night (2am for them divs ) & get a kebab on the way home. Now I just accept everyone for what they are, who they are & how they chose to live their lives - just like they now accept me & my "WEIRD" ways Your poem is a perfect insight into your youth & you dont need to apologise for what you were feeling 30+ years ago Brilliant - keep em coming please ATB Ali x

Hello Swish Long time no see. You probably wont remeber me but I'm from Leeds & used to pal around with Karen Mahoney & Dave Ripley. You may have seen me round at Tony Colebys (when he lived in Roundhay) & mistaken me for his great grand-daughter (lets hope Tony reads this !!) What postal strike ? That is a very good & valid point Pete thanks. I should have thought of that especially as our bin men have been on strike for about 6 weeks & its causing various problems (no rats tho!!) I'll ring Manifesto next week if I havent heard anything. Me too !! I've subscribed since the "Polly days" If yours hasnt been banked & mine hasn't I suspect they anticipated problems hence maybe holding on to our cheques rather than bank them before their ship was in order & really pxssing us off. In the past Ive seen them selling at Prestatyn so Im gonna wait until theyre back next week then give em a call. Hi Arthur Has your cheque been banked yet ? I sent off beginning of September for my latest renewal subscription and my cheque hasnt been banked yet. In a way I wish it had then I'd know they'd definitely owed me one. I have had problems in the past & it is a chaotic system but they have always sorted things out for me in the end so I'd bear with them a little longer if you can. Im sure its all in hand. I was goin to say I didnt realise you had stopped shagging ! but then looked at the link and realised it's quite nice in places (Im a softie deep down). I did see a couple dancing together at April Brighouse, tho they weren't dancing like the couple in the clip, more like a dance off (where she won!!). Still it was good to watch "his & hers" on the dancefloor. Cant say I'd like it if everyone was "at it" on the dancefloor cos its quite easy to bump one person out of your space but bumping two requires a bit more hip action!!
